In the spirit of spreading small acts of kindness within the community, Wacontre was honored to participate in the charity event “A Meal of Love,” which took place on July 20, 2024, at Mái Ấm Tình Thương Chùa Diệu Giác – District 2, HCMC. This event was one of the meaningful charity activities aimed at spreading joy and happiness to the children at the shelter.

“A Meal of Love” is more than just a meal. It provided an opportunity to convey a positive message, share love, and kindness, with over 90 meals prepared and many practical gifts for the shelter and the children.

Charity Activities with Wacontre

The event took place at 9:00 AM on July 20, 2024, with the participation of companies such as Wacontre, Việc Ơi, C2G Vietnam, TaeKyung Vietnam, DataNext, TS-Office, and M2.

In preparation for the upcoming school year, employees prepared gift packages including notebooks, essential items, and cash for the shelter and the children. Handing out these small gifts and receiving the joyful smiles from the children and the heartfelt words from the monks deeply moved us.

In addition to distributing gifts, we had the chance to interact with the children through fun activities, conversations, and listening to their dreams.

The most valuable aspect of the “A Meal of Love” charity event is not just the delicious meals, but the happiness that comes from giving and receiving. Happiness comes not only from what we receive but also from what we give.

The charity event concluded with unforgettable emotions.
